exposed, as numerous nations have difficulties in obtaining essential medical and
strategic supplies. The large yet uneven loss of employment has revealed and rapidly
exacerbated social inequality, potentially putting over 300 million jobs at danger (ILO,
2020[2]). The severity and scope of the current situation have elevated the importance
of readiness and resilience in the public mind, even if this is not the first economic crisis
to highlight these weaknesses.
