Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to help you to gain insight into precolonial
Southern African societies, as well as the early colonisation of the Cape by
Europeans in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Assessment will be based on the following:

your own words.

should be a page and a half in length

big effect on how things worked. Slavery was really important for the economy of
the Cape because it provided cheap labor for farming, housework, and other jobs.
But slavery didn't just affect money stuff—it also changed how people were treated
