numerical data. The five stages of statistical inference are:
1. Formulation of the hypothesis
2. Collection of data
3. Analysis of data
4. Drawing conclusions
5. Reporting and interpretation of results
(b) Data refers to information that is collected and analyzed for the purpose of making
decisions. The four measurement scales of data are:
1. Nominal scale
2. Ordinal scale
3. Interval scale
4. Ratio scale
(c) A data source is a place or method from which data is collected. It can be classified
into primary and secondary sources.
- Primary sources involve the collection of original data through direct observation,
surveys, experiments, etc.
