Using a variety of strategic management theories, we will examine MTN Group Limited's
internal environment in this project. Following our access to the MTN Group Limited
Integrated Report for the year that concluded on December 31, 2022, we will respond to
a set of essay-style questions.
In order to answer the first question, we must assess MTN's internal environment using
the RBV (Resource-Based View) model, paying particular attention to the company's
resource position and offering evidence to back up our conclusions. Next, we will use
the fourcorner analysis to forecast the future actions and plans of a significant MTN
industry rival.
After that, we'll talk about the idea of capabilities and apply functional analysis to
pinpoint and elucidate MTN's capabilities in relation to the various functional areas of
the company. Lastly, we will choose a mobile phone brand and describe their cost
leadership approach. You will need to have access to the MTN Group Limited
Integrated Report and a working knowledge of strategic management models and ideas
in order to do this assignment.
