inventory management consist of:
Just-in-Time (JIT) Inventory
This strategy focusses on lowering inventory levels by acquiring goods solely when
required for production or deployment, thereby decreasing holding costs and
minimising waste. Implementing JIT can effectively minimise excess inventory and
storage expenses (Wolmarans & Niemann, 2023). For instance, 0717513144the Army
can arrange the procurement of supplies like food and clothing nearer to their
consumption dates, thereby preventing wastage and guaranteeing that items remain

Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)

EOQ for essential items such as ammunition or medical supplies guarantees that the

ordering costs with holding costs.
ABC Analysis
This approach classifies inventory into three categories (A, B, and C) according to their
significance and worth (Mvubu & Naude, 2024). Class A items are characterised by
their high value and low demand frequency, Class B items possess moderate value
