I want totake the time out and welcomeDominic Jones to the Bug-N-Out family. Dominic is the
new manager for Maryland East division. He has over 30 years of experience in the pest control
industry and has spent the last 10 years managing at Innovative Pest. Dominic has worked in at
numerous positions in the industry ranging from inside sales, tech, operations manager and
handling all government contracts for the last decade personally as tech. Dominic also was
responsible for helping create the new smart box technology we use today in the field . Dominic
has gained the support and respect of his fellow coworkers by showing leadership, going above
the status quo, and setting the bar for everyone else to follow and will be a wonderful asset to our
company.
Dominic has been in charge for over 60 people at a time and enjoys putting together detailed
plans to solve issues that others could not. For example, there was an animal shelter in
Washington D.C. that had a rat infestation so bad, it made the news. Dominic worked for
Innovative and at the time they were #1 in Maryland, D.C. and Virginia. Dominic was sent out to
look at the situation and discovered when he entered the doors, rats were crawling all over top of
him and around him. After inspecting the rest of the establishment, he quickly wrote a list of
things that he wanted the owners to fix. The owner had already been through a lot dealing with
the rats alone, then adding the media on top of all that, needless to say he was not in the best of
moods, so he starting to screaming and cursing at Dominic when he informed the owner what
needed to be done to fix the situation.
Fortunately, Dominic has been in this situation hundreds of times before, and new that the
customer just had to blow off some steam. By showing compassion for the customers situation,
the owner was able to understand what needed to be done and started working on the
recommendations the same day. Dominic new he had a battle on his hands, because the owner
