When an educator is preparing a memorandum for an essay type question in
Business studies he or she should try to mention main points that are short as much
as possible for easy marking.The educator should make the memorandum flexible,
so that learners can get credit for meaningful and acceptable answers.The
memorandum should also give room for factual knowledge, but the teacher should
give credit for the substantiation of statements.In the memorandum the educator
should also leave room for independent research,for example factual knowledge
that the learner has obtained from newspapers not from textbooks.The educator
should also give marks for overall impression like neatness and correct use of the
language.The educator should implement alternative methods of assessment early in
the learners school career to give all of them the opportunity to realise their
potential. The educator should ensure that he or she develop and adapt the
assessment tasks in a way that the barriers are addressed at an early stage and
identify the type of the barrier and the need for a specific learners and adapt the
activities accordingly.The educator should identify the learners need of alternative
assessment methods early before you call them to write examinations.
