world. Founded by Steve jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne in California, 1976.
They specialize in smartphone and tech. Their products are Mac computers, iPhone,
iPad, iPod, Apple watch, Apple Tv, and Air pods. They have 519 retail stores worldwide
and operates in 25 counties. The company has generated $365.82 billion of revenue
during the 2021 fiscal year.
Business support systems when operating internationally for Apple are as follows:
Internet: Through internet any business can benefit from better communication
with its external and internal stakeholders such as customer and employees. Through
emails, calls employees can communicate effectively for business purposes or
participating online meeting platform such as Zoom, Skype and Team meetings. This
enables business to operate effective no matter where they are and which countries
they are operating. Business website enables consumers to order online 24/7 and this
benefits the company to remain profitable. The online ordering enables and benefits
businesses to keep their sales growing even outside store/retail working hours. Apple
website also includes supports to its customers such as Apple repair service where
you can book appointments if necessary and ordering refurbished iPhone. This helps
the business to operate effectively and maintain compactness. Apple also uses the
internet platform to advertise internationally through YouTube, Instagram and official
website. As these platforms has vast number of audiences it benefits Apple to reach
large number of customer segments and provide awareness of its products at once.
This is a better way from traditional catalogue or leaflet advertisement. If customers
are unhappy with any of Apple product or service, they can complain through online
platform this enables the company to improve their product and service. Apple can
take advantage of online survey to make market research on how they could develop
their product and services also to identify what the customers wants. Therefore,

advance to get a product being delivered to their

issues a letter mainly one bank to other
Letter of credit (internationally) to guarantee for payments. This
enables Apple exporters to be guaranteed payment
from Apple and they can deliver goods such as Apple
components, body parts for assemble etc. Advantage
could be, creating a good business relation and trust
between Apple and its exporters such as the
suppliers.
This is a method where businesses can transfer
money from one bank to another international very
effectively. This can be done both from a bank branch
International Bank transfer or online however, big amount may not be authorised
to be transferred from online banking, which forces
them to go to a branch physically and process the
