Summary Sleep Disorder
Sleep is as important as the air we breathe and the food we consume, especially for people suffering from chronic conditions or with weakened immune systems. Inadequate or poor-quality sleep can be caused by a variety of circumstances, including sleep disturbances, physical illnesses, and mental health concerns. To prevent light, apply thick drapes, blackout shades, or even an eye mask. To promote sound slumber, reduce the quantity of outside noise with earplugs or a "white noise" device. If you are hungry at night, eat items that won't wake you up. If you must nap, keep it to no more than 30 minutes and avoid napping late in the day. A healthy adult should get at least 7 hours of sleep every night, and should not go to bed hungry or full within a couple of hours of going to bed.
