Cut some foreign aid to African countries: $17 billion
Add tax on carbon emissions: $40 billion
Tax banks based on their sizes and risk: $ 73 billion
Return the estate tax to Clinton-era levels: $50 billion
Cancel or delay some weapons programs: $19 billion
I would recommend ending tax cuts for those with household income over $250,000 as this
would save the nation around $1 trillion over 10 years and would be a major first step in
allowing the wealthy to pay their fair share of taxes (Americans for Tax Fairness, 2019).
