and development.
Adjuvants are products that are added to a pesticide tank to improve its
effectiveness. They may improve the mixture's wetting ability, boost pesticide
penetration into plant or insect tissue, or decrease pesticide drift.
Although adjuvants have no major pesticidal efficacy, DPR regulates them
almost identically to insecticides.
Examples of Adjuvants - ANSWER Surfactants... assist pesticides in
penetrating target plants such as weeds.
Stickers... help the pesticide remain on the target plant's leaves.
Buffers make acidic or alkaline water more neutral.

substantial eye threat to handlers, and require agitation in the mixing tank. They
may be phytotoxic to plants.
