repel various types of pests.
NCDA&CS conducts routine inspections of certified applicators,
public agencies, and restricted use pesticide dealers. All pesticides must
be registered through this agency.
Economic Injury Level (EIL) When the potential loss of crop yield to
pest damage reaches the potential cost of pest control.
Economic threshold (action threshold) The pest population at
which control measures are needed to prevent the pest form reaching
the economic injury level.
