NUR 2214 / NUR2214 Nursing Care of the Older Adult Module Five Overview | Latest 2020 / 2021 | Rasmussen College  Heath Assessment  Overview  Health assessments in the older adult population assist the nurse in identifying an unmet need.  It is designed to determine the older adults overall functional and health state. Identified limitations can be aligned with the appropriate interventions to promote health and prevent further decline or injury.  The health status of older adults can be very subtle compared to a younger adult.
