Obstructionist stance: Organizations usually do as little as possible to adress social or environmental problems, their typical response is to deny or avoid accepting responsibility when crossing the ethical or legal line that seperates acceptable from unacceptable.
2. Defensive stance: The organization will do everything that is required of it legally but nothing more.
3. Accommodative stance: An organization that adopts this stance, meet sits legal and ethical requirements but will also go beyond these requirements in selected cases. They will agree to participate in social programs, but they have to be convinced that the program is worthy of their support.
4. Proactive stance: Organizations that adopt this approach take to heart the agruments in favor of social responsibility, they proactively seek opportunities to contribute. (Ronald Mcdo houses)
