9.7 The examination

As this is a continuous assessment module, there will be no formal examinations for this module. You will
submit the RESEARCH PROPOSAL, comprising of the work you have done in completing your assignments
thus far (Assignment 02 to 04). It is important that you complete and do well in each of the assignments
provided. In cases where your marks are not satisfactory, you need to contact the lecturer to discuss options
of engaging in a process of improving the marks for those assignments.
You will compile your research proposal as follows:
• Combine relevant sections from assignments you have completed thus far (Assignment 02-04)
• Make improvements in identified areas on the basis of the feedback given by your lecturer/s. (You
are allowed to expand your literature review.)
• Include all your references (following the APA style).
• Edit your work for language and technical errors.
• Submit your work to Turnitin.
• You are allowed to obtain critical feedback from your peers or any experienced researcher.
• Submit your research proposal online via myUnisa to be marked onscreen. (Your research proposal
will not be printed.)
• Your research proposal must be submitted as a PDF file.
• You can use your research proposal when applying to study for a Masters in Inclusive Education.
• Your research proposal must not be longer than 30 pages.
