This job advertisement could be placed outside McDonald’ss store. This would be an
effective place to put this advertisement because it would be easy for people to see as they
walk out the store. The advertisement makes it very clear that McDonald’s are hiring which
indicates to people that there are positions available. By placing it outside the store people
could take pictures of it and share it with others which may potentially increase the volume of
applications that McDonald’s receives. Therefore, placing the job advertisement outside the

Job description
Contract type: Part time- 30 hours per week

Work pattern: 3X10 hour shifts per week. The shifts will be AM and PM which may include
weekends. At the start of every month you will get your shifts for the entire month. As this is
a part time role you have to work at least 3 days a week and no more because this is a part
time contract. You can choose your availability via the MySchedule app where we will pick
shifts between the time that you are available. AM shifts will start as early as 5am and finish

around 10PM latest. However, if you would like to work, the midnight shift would start around
11PM and finish at 7AM. We have a maximum of 28 days off a year where there is no ban at
any dates. When you request a holiday it will be authorised by a business manager.

Job brief: At McDonald’s we are looking for crew members to join our family. To become
successful in this role you must have excellent people skills along with being very efficient
due to McDonald’s being a fast paced environment. Multitasking skills are required in order
to be successful in this role because in this role there will be some cases where you will
have to do 2 things at once. To summarise, to be successful in this job role you must be able
to work under pressure and communicate with your team members and customers
effectively.

● Serve hot food to customers at a fast pace.
● Prioritise important tasks and manage your time effectively.
● Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude.
● Serve customers at the tills and answer any queries that they may have.
● Prepare food to a high standard.
● Follow all workplace safety and food hygiene procedures
● Treat customers and colleagues with respect
● Always have a smile on your face and be positive.
