four facts on global inequalities
I. large differences worldwide in quality of life
< indicators : life expectancy, child mortality, adult literacy, happiness, income (GDP per capita) …
II. differences are strongly linked to income
≈ correlation income and indicators life expectancy (+), literacy (decreasing marginal return) …
