Abstract Human trafficking has always been labeled as a degrading crime that occurs internationally. The crime itself involves all types of people, not subjected to race, age or gender. Human trafficking is commonly known as a sex crime however, it also involves labor and any forced actions. Preventing and combating human trafficking has never been easy and it requires effort from every person available. With that being said, we can not only rely on law enforcement and government officials to do all the work. It begins at the lowest level possible. In order to do this, we must understand human trafficking as a whole and all aspects involved. This literature analysis attempts to identify first some of the contributing factors, impact and lastly preventative measures in relation to human trafficking.
