Children will concentrate more and show more enthusiasm when the activities are of

interest and developmentally appropriate. To do this, the teacher needs to know their students

and family entirely, including knowing them developmentally. When teachers create aesthetic

activities, there are a few factors that need to be considered. First and foremost, the environment

will set the stage of how the classroom's overall vibe will be. According to Russell (2019), "The

environments where children and educators work and play are crucial to the way we feel, the

way we think, and the way we behave" (Para 1). Classroom environments that are full of bright

colors, furniture that doesn’t match, and walls disorderly with children's artwork, just increases

the volume of the classroom and increases the chances of disruptive behavior. When there are

loud noise and disruptive behavior, how can children actively learn? This creates sensory

overload for the children, and the environment becomes obnoxious. Besides the environment,

aesthetic learning overall covers a wide range from various art forms and the appreciation of the

natural world (Kostenlnik, Soderman, Whiren, & Rupiper, 2015). Children's self-esteem

increases when aesthetic activities are properly planned and created. These activities allow

children to learn about not only themselves but also other people. They will build their

confidence,


Teaching strategies are essential to use with all domains of development. There isn't one

teaching strategy that will work for all. Depending on the teacher, students, time of day, the

energy of the classroom, and the age group depends on what strategy you should use. According

to NAEYC (n.d.), "An effective teacher or family childcare provider chooses a strategy to fit a

particular situation" (para 1). As an educator, it is essential to remain observant and flexible. By

doing so, you can decipher what strategy is going to work and what will not work. The following
