The client is a Mexican female who is in an abusive marriage with her husband. The
client suffers from lack of sleep, thoughts of unworthiness to her husband, or does not meet her

esteem, feels that she will be following in her mother’s footsteps. She thinks that she has no
option out of her situation and thoughts of uncertainty and hopelessness. The client discloses
witnessing her father abusing her mother. The client has lost weight due to a loss of appetite.
The client mentions suicidal ideation, feels her children and family would be better off without
her. The client expresses thoughts of uncertainty about her marriage and family. The client gets
