GNP doesn’t tell us what each individual has → Thus we started look at GDP → However this still
doesn’t give us a good overview because we don’t know whether or not its distributed equally → So
we need to go beyond the measuring of wealth through money.

- Wellbeing has nothing to do with money and finances. It has to do with belonging in a
community, how much you feel accepted by the people that you live with.
- These 2 concepts have a lot to with human development, because when we pass the
freedom of want these 2 concepts is what we start caring about.

create an enabling environment for people to live long, healthy, and creative lives”
,The main importance in her approach is that these main capabilities are presented as choice.
, You should be given the opportunity to have a healthy life, buy healthy food or do sports and to be
able to lead a live in clean air so that you can have the opportunity, these are called capabilities. In
these instances you can still live unhealthy, but it’s your own choice.
