What are IT projects?
IT projects are projects that are somewhat connected to information systems or any type of
computer technology which can include different activities such as software development, game
development, programming applications or large-scale software systems. IT projects can also be web
development which can include updating the web pages on the website or developing a brand-new
website. There are fewer categories that are considered as IT projects such as research, service,
software development, system development and deployment, change of management, and
infrastructure.
What is project scope?
Project scope is a precise summary of the aspects of a project such as the activities done for it, the
resources that were needed for the project to be executed, the timelines of the progress of the
project, deliverables, and the project’s limits. The scope of a project also reveals the key
stakeholders of the project, processes that were undertaken while the project was being developed
and constrains about the project and also what the project is about. All of this information is being
documented in a scope statement.

When starting a project, the company that is managing the project should make a plan that they will
work through to create the project. There are four general parts of project summaries which are
firstly starting with the problem that needs to be solved in the project, next they would want to
