When you want to do a market research, you will need to make a
market research plan. In this task, I will explain the steps that
you will have to go through before actually start a market
research. We will need to take look at the diferent stages we
have go through in order to do a market research. For a market
research, you will need a project manager, a market research
team and interviewers.
Step 1: the research brief
For this step, you must brief your research, your market research team
needs to know what you want to research. This means that the brief
needs to be set out very broadly, for instance you need to investigate if
there is a market for KLM. The research brief needs to provide details
about the organisation, and what nature will need to be required for the
research.

KLM says that a lot of young people, the age of 16 – 25, fy a lot with the
competitors of KLM, now KLM wants to research which method is the best
to use for marketing on social media/internet to reach their target group
better. KLM is one of the biggest airline company, they provide fights all
over the world. The competitors of KLM are the following Lufthansa, British
Airways, Aerofot, Malaysia Airlines, Air France, American Airlines.
Step 2: defne the issue:
With this point, we mean that you need to clarify what needs to be
researched. You need to fgure out who your target group is going to be,
what aspects you would like to clarify. The most important aspect of
defning the issue is to be clear about the target group. What KLM wants
