This essay discusses how Rene Descartes and other Cartesian philosophers' views impacted feminism. It explores how the mind-body dualism theory aided women in fighting for their rights and acknowledges other philosophers who argued that this theory was actually damaging to women.

This essay answers the question: Describe the geography of the global clothing industry. Using examples, discuss the experiences of places and people in the Global South of working in the clothing industry. What are the possible responses to the inequalities present in the industry? I discuss the aspects of the global commodity chain and how the fashion industry exploits the global south, focussing on how women in developing countries suffer the greatest from fast fashion.
