The document that I created for The Tempest which helped me get an A* in English literature in 2024; includes the different sections of the mark scheme - quotes, critics and context. Contains a large quote bank with the most important quotes from each scene alongside an analysis of each quote. There is then a critics bank where I have written out 20+ different critical opinions, including different adaptions of the play and explanations of how I would link these critical arguments into an essay....

These summarised notes contains the key analysis needed for the Rossetti component 1 section of the exam . It included the main poems to memorise and the key analysis. Its used as a guideline for part a but can be utilised for both questions in this section

Mark: 57/60 An A star essay comparing Larkin and Duffy’s poetry from their collections The Whitsun Weddings and Mean Time on the topic of whether distress is found rather than celebration in family relationships. Exploring connections between their presentations. Careful and thorough analysis. Poems used are: Dockery and Son and Reference Back for Larkin and Litany and Before you were mine for Duffy.
