Performance Pedagogy (MUS250)

Here is the unlabeled vocal tract that we practiced on in class. It is not necessary to know the function of each anatomical part but it is helpful to know in the future.

This was an article that we had to do a presentation on in class on registration unification and the two registers that are used in singing.

Here we have our first reading assignment that we had from Dr. Kari Ragan's book and it just asks a few questions that we are supposed to answer about the text and about ourselves.

Here we responded to some question in response to Dr. Kari Ragan's book "A Systemic Approach to Voice"

This document is in response to a couple of questions based off of Dr. Kari Ragan's book "A Systemic Approach to Voice" and my own personal thoughts on the chapter as well.

Here we learned and studied about resonance and the different amplifiers that exist in the vocal tract.

We had a test on the vocal tract and the different components that make up the vocal tract. It is helpful to know the uses of each part of anatomy but is not essential for the test.

In these notes I talked about the different facets that come with singing CCM songs and singing Classical songs as well as what the body does in preparation for these different styles of singing.
