Business Administration Notes
These notes are for students pursuing business administration or business in general, educators, freelancers e.t.c. The notes are derived from a book named 'Business' the fifth edition by Pride, W.M., Hughes, R.J and Kapoor, J.R. There are seven parts to this book namely:
1. part one: American Business Today (chapters; foundations of business, ethnics and social responsibility, global business, the forms of business ownership, and, small business, entrepreneurship & franchises)
2. part two: Management and Organisation (chapters: the management process, creating the organisation, and, production & operations management)
3. part 3: The Human Resource (chapter: people & motivations in business, human resource management, and, union-management relations)
4. part 4: Marketing ( chapters: the overview of marketing, product & price, wholesaling, retailing & physical distribution, and, promotion)
5. part 5: Information for Business ( management information & computers and accounting)
6. part 6: Finance and Investment ( chapters: money, banking & credit, financial management, security markets & investments, and, risk management & insurance)
7. part 7: The business Environment (chapters: business law & government regulations, assistance & taxation, and, careers in business)
