The notes begin with an introduction to viruses and their size. Then, it describes viral structure and the capsid and envelope coverings. Other topics include the core of the virus, viral cycle, lytic cycle (with picture/diagram), lysogenic cycle, cytopathic effects, and finally the medical impact of viruses.

Includes a breakdown of eukaryote and prokaryotic cells (graphs). Along with fungi kingdoms, mold forms, yeast forms, and dimorphics. Kingdom Protista and algae are also included on the last two pages of the notes with descriptions of diatoms and what they can be used for in the environment and our every day lives.

The document first starts out with protozoans but later digs into the different classes of protozoans. Afterwards, you will find information on sporozoans, parasites, and finally information and definition about parasitic worms.

Within this class notes document you will find the description of cells (envelope, thickness, difference, possibilities, etc). More information that is included includes methods of gram staining, internal cytoplasm, endospores, prokaryotes, etc.
