Section 1: Data File Description The data set ‘’ has a sample size (N) of 105. The test variable, or outcome variable, is ‘quiz3’, as the comparisons would be made between three groups of scores on ‘quiz3’[ CITATION War13 l 1033 ]. This variable is classified as a ratio level of measurement as the scores under ‘quiz3’ have interval level of measurement properties and also have a true zero point (Warner, 2013). The test variable, ‘section’, is a qualitative variable, along the lines of nominal scale of measurement, as there are only three sections in which the participants within the sample are categorized within (Warner, 2013). There are several assumptions to a one-way ANOVA for it to be considered reliable.
