High intake of fruits and vegetables have resulted to a healthy physical body and no experience of diet

related diseases whatsoever. During childhood, bananas, mangoes, passion fruits, Oranges, apples and watermelons

were always on diet. Vegetables such as spinach and indigenous vegetables were consumed at least once in a day

(Amatori et al., 2020). Fruits are source of minerals and vitamins, high fiber content, low fats and calories, a number

of tastes and texture from different fruits and vegetables and also generally they contribute to the wellbeing of the

body functions.

Additionally, healthy eating when it comes to marketing, knowledge and cleanliness becomes a challenge. Powerful

marketing strategies such as use of cartoons have a great impact during childhood. Information of diets and

nutritional value is also comprehensive and it takes time to understand.


As an individual ages, there are changes prone to their body requirements such as defiance in minerals such

as iron, calcium, magnesium and some of the vitamins such as vitamin B12 and D (Gillespie, 2021). As people grow

older, there is high intake of supplements such as for instance on vitamins and minerals to avoid bone breakage.

Additionally, taking of more water and foods rich in water such as watermelons, lettuce, berries and cucumbers

becomes a critical practice especially when getting old. People also consider foods with lower calories, more

nutrient rich foods and brainy health foods (Wongprawmas et al., 2021).


The chance of getting a chronic diseases is minimal and no because of high intake of balanced diet which

involves fruits, vegetables, lean meat, whole grains and low fat dairy products, a lot of water foods and also body

exercise.
