- Tromboplastine vrij => keten v reacties => bloedstolsel

- Bloed buiten bloedvaten => stollen
- Voorkomen -> in buisjes -> anticoagulantia => bloed blijft in natuurlijke staat (-> cellen + plasma)

- Snelheid -> rbc in buisje bloed nr beneden zakken
- Heldere kolom plasma ontstaan
• Zwangere vrouw
- waarde hoger dr hoger fibrinogeengehalte
• aantal factoren die bezinking beïnvloeden:
- eiwitsamenstelling vh plasma
o fibrinogeenconcentratie stijgt dr reactie v infectie
o fibrinogeen -> zorgt -> afstoting v rbc vermindert => aantrekkingskracht v individuele rbc vergroot
o vorming erytrocytenaggregaten gemakkelijker op gang komen => rbc op elkaar (“geldrolletjes”)
o gewicht v rbc toenemen => sneller zinken => sedimentatie neemt toe
- botsingfrequentie
o aantal rbc verminderd => rbc minder tegen elkaar botsen => bezinkingssneldheid neemt toe
o ongewoon lage bezinking -> kan wijzen op toegenomen stroperigheid vh bloed
