~~> It was a grand castle that was Hrothgar's throne room as well as the
place for parties and drinking. Heorot was destroyed by Grendel's attacks:
the walls were soaked in blood, bodies were scattered like limp dolls and the
smell of death lingered in the once cheerful building.
