nipples, superior clavicles and inferior - xiphisternum - makes the box!!
Respiratory distress Right Ans - Can't count to ten in one breath. - RR 30-
40 min
Low RR Right Ans - Head injury, drugs or hypothermia
RISE 'N' FALL Right Ans - Breathing Rate
Check for injuries
Check symmetry
Effort
N Twelve
Feel for crepitus
Asses for resonance (hypo/hyper)
Listen for good air entry and exit
Look at back and sides for injuries
TWELVE Right Ans - Trachea
Wounds in neck
Emphysema
Larynx (as it to talk)
Veins
Everytime before a collar
Tachypnoea Right Ans - Pain anxiety and fear
Reassure patient and reasses RR
Early signs of a compromised casualty
Chest screen test (doesn't replace rise and fall) Right Ans - Ask casualty
(does breathing feel normal, pain in deep breath or coughing?)
