Unit 20 Assignment 3
,1. Breathalyser technology
A breathalyser is a device for estimating blood alcohol content from a breath
sample, this is often used by a police officer upon pulling over a person they
believe may be under the influence of alcohol whilst driving.
This test is done by taking a deep breath then blowing into a tube and then
the device will display a reading, anything over 35 micrograms per 100 ml of
breath is over the limit and therefore would lead to an arrest.
