What is a custodial situation? - Answer-Whether a situation is custodial depends on
whether a reasonable innocent person in the suspect's position would feel a restraint on
his or her freedom of movement to such an extent that it approaches a formal arrest.
When is rights advice given? - Answer-Rights advice should be given before
interrogating suspects if they are in a custodial situation.
What is custodial interrogation - Answer-Any questions, statements or actions
reasonable likely to elicit an incriminating response.
