The topic I have chosen is Sexual Health Education. Arizona is one of 18 states that does not require sexual health ​education in public schools​; the ​option is​ left up to local school districts. From personal experience, I was taught in a 30-minute lecture that having intercourse would result in an STD or unexpected pregnancy. Sexual health is an umbrella term that encompasses all aspects of a person's physical and mental well-being related to sex and sexuality.
