1. Customer group: Music lovers, iPod , psychographic, b2c.
-> Music Lovers would be a psychographic target market for iPods because their interests is
music and iPods allow you to listen to music on the go, anywhere and everywhere. They are
small, so are easy to carry around, and can store hundreds of songs on them because they tend
to have large storage capacity. Most people have their music on their mobile phones, which can
run down battery as they have to use it for many others things too, however an iPods allow up
to 14 hours of playing time, meaning music lovers could listen to hours of music without needing
to worry about running out of battery. Some iPods also allow you to play games, watch movies
and have other apps, meaning they can have all their music alongside other things they may
want to do, so they could listen to music whilst they play games or browse the internet. Apple
Music on the iPod also allows them to have their music downloaded on several devices so they
are only having to buy a song once.
2. Customer group: Business men / women, macbooks, behaviouristic, b2b
-> Business men and women would be a target for MacBooks because they are light and easy
to carry around with you, meaning they can take their MacBooks to and from work, to meetings,
on transport such as trains and planes and do their work on the go. Many companies would get
macbooks for their employees because they are easy to use and one of the best laptops out
there, especially for business women and men, and having good quality equipment can allow
the best for the business. The batteries last long in MacBooks meaning they don’t need to be
charged too often, which is good for people who are likely to be on them all day. They also have
a lot of different software that a business man or women would find useful, such as iCloud,
Keynotes and more, which can allow them to save their work on their MacBook to do on other
Apple devices as well.
3. Customer group: Families, Apple TV, demographic, b2c
-> Families would be a demographic target market for Apple TVs because it allows you to watch
hundreds of tv programmes and film as well as games and apps, so it would have something to
appeal to all of the family. The tv programmes and films would be good for families as watching
films is usually something families do as an activity together. Apple TV is good for all ages,
which is good for families because they include both adults and children and can target toddlers,
children and teenagers. Because you can download apps for the Apple TV, families can watch
