market is getting more competitive, parents have to work most of the time. As a result, they
might encourage their children to watch TV stead of going out, which is easier for parents to
control their kids without worrying too much about them lost or kidnap.
Despite this, there are a couple of measures that can put forward to tackle this problem. The
most important point is that parents need to pay more attention to their offsprings and spend
more quality time with them. By doing this, they may be able to control their kids’ TV time
and engage them more in other active activities. Another possible approach is that schools
should organize more outdoor activities for students such as sport competitions, musical
performances or visits to museums. These activities not only distract them from television
programs but also allows them to develop new skills and gain more knowledge.
In conclusion, although there are different reasons behind the fact that children are watching
more TV and are leading a passive lifestyle, steps can take to address this issue.
