Season 1 starts with the well-known story where Lincoln Burrows was sentenced to death
for a murder he didn't commit. He is said to have murdered the brother of the Vice President
of the United States. His brother and protagonist of the series, Michael Scofield, believes
Burrows and comes up with a plan to get him out of prison.
Michael makes sure he ends up in the same prison as his brother and that is where the
adventure begins. Devising an escape plan is one thing, but the execution is another.
Michael is an expert in architecture and has the blueprints of the Fox River prison, where he
and his brother are imprisoned, tattooed on his body. This should be his way out, but not
everything always goes according to plan.
Michael Scofield has to deal with the rest of the prison members who want to be part of the
escape plan. Scofield is a game that will allow you to get out of the prison and get out of the

political influence. Burrows' lawyers don't succeed in saving him from the death penalty, and

C Personal opinion:
The cliffhanger at the end of each episode makes you want to look further. These are well
timed and also maintain the illusion that a lot is happening. Indeed, it is very rare that a
series that makes its main story run so slowly, can be so incredibly full of interesting and
fascinating twists and turns. You are going to sincerely hate some characters and yet you
don't want to say goodbye to those same characters. It intrigues and sticks.
