The goal of the Triple-P is to prevent severe bx, emotional, developmental
problems and enhancing knowledge skills and confidence in parents
Aims to do all of this by focusing on the family system

Prevention program: the Triple-P is not just provided in response to problems,
also is to prevent problems.

The Group version was first evaluated with 1673 families.
Those receiving the intervention Triple-P there was an incredible reduction
of child disruptive bx, i.e., from 42% in all 1673 families, to 20%.
Treatment groups saw reductions in dysfunctional parenting practices, marital
conflict, parental stress and depression
