Inactivity and obesity are primary determinants of lifestyle diseases such as:

• Chronic obstructive • Chronic liver disease
pulmonary disease (COPD) • Depression

• These families need subsidies for registration, equipment, and
transportation costs.
• Aboriginal families can be especially disadvantaged.
