SOMATISCH – SYMPTOOMSTOORNIS EN VERWANTE STOORNISBESCHRIJVING
Somatisch-symptoomstoornis
= mensen zijn aanhoudend disproportioneel bezorgd en angstig over hun gezondheid of hun
lichamelijke klachten.
Ziekteangststoornis
= patiënten zijn sterk gepreoccupeerd met het hebben of krijgen van een ernstige ziekte en
zijn er niet of nauwelijks lichamelijke symptomen.
Conversiestoornis
= functie- uitval die niet gelinkt is met een neurologische of andere somatische aandoening,
waarvan patiënten duidelijk last ondervinden in hun dagelijks functioneren.
Nagebootste stoornis
= doelbewust nabootsen of veroorzaken van lichamelijke/ psychische klachten of
verschijnselen. Patiënt presenteert zichzelf als ziek, gehandicapt of gewond en wekt de
indruk dat er sprake is van een somatische aandoening. Hun hele leven draait om ziek of
gehandicapt zijn, waarmee het motief lijkt de ziekterol te verkrijgen. Door dit gedrag is er
kans op: grote psychische lijdensdruk, beperkingen in hun functioneren en incidenteel tot de
dood.
Simulatie
= iemand dat lichamelijke of geestelijke ziekte of symptomen opzettelijk veroorzaakt of doet
alsof; patiënt is zich ervan bewust dat hem niets mankeert maar probeert zo bvb voordeel te
krijgen bij fraude of oplichting om strafvermindering te krijgen.
