DAY 3
OCT
Primary kinder - 6
Intermediate 4 - 9
High school 9 - 12
In order to be able to be able to teach after High school you need to go back to school to get
the quali cations to teach in another age group.

Prep is paid time in the educator plans out what they will do with their class.
An example of this would be:
A movie day with questions.
Work sheets and slideshows.
tests.
which textbook pages to read and when.

Timed approach:
The child won't feel the best having time limit due to the fact that they may not have
nished what they were working on.
The child will have to stop what they are working and move else where. The child may
not want to move from where they are. The child may want to stay where they are and nish
what they started.

Try to encourage the child to go to another station regardless of whether or not it's a play
station. Don't rush the child to go to another station before they are ready.

Planning can be shared between the ECE and the educator in the room. The educator will
usually plan during their prep time meanwhile the ECE will plan at home after hours.

Reporting and relationships:
You report to the Principal of the school.
You work as a partnership.
You are not the teachers assistant you are their partner.

Day 6
Kids Love to swing it Can be anything hanging from a tree.
A re for example

Freedom, fun, expression
currency
curiosity

By taking something from the environment it becomes what the child wants.
It allows for collaboration with others.
Indoor and outdoor activities that can be done.
Problem solving in the environment.

Incorporating a visual aspect for the children to see they will be able to read easier.
A cereal box would be an example.
A picture book.

IMAGINATION = Phineas and Ferb

You want children to ask questions. You want to peak their interests with learning and play. You
want the children to investigate.
