1) Why can a single binary value represent both a signed integer value and an unsigned integer value? Use a representative example to help your explanation. An example of such a case is the binary value ‘111’. As a signed integer, the most significant bit, ‘1’ makes the value negative in the 2’s complement system. As a result, its value is ‘-1’ in decimal. However, as an unsigned integer, it represents ‘7’ in decimal. 2) For each component supplied in Logisim’s Arithmetic Library, give a simple one-sentence summary (in your own words) of the function performed by the component. a) Adder – This adds two binary values at its two inputs and outputs the result in one binary value. b) Subtractor – This subtracts one binary value from another by inverting the bits of subtrahend, adding it to the minuend and also adding the inverse of the borrow-in bit. c) Multiplier – This multiplies the binary values at its inputs and outputs a product of these two values in a single binary value at its output. d) Divider – Divides the two binary values at its input with unsigned division and gives a result in the output. e) Negator – Finds the two’s complement of the binary value at its input. f) Comparator – Can co
