NEWLY INDUSTRIALIZING- these countries are going through a transition toward
development (change to economy and lifestyle) ex. Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong
DEVELOPING COUNTRY- lowest economic level and standard of living, growing populations,
primary industries; agriculture income is low. Ex. Ethiopia, Bangladesh, India
