Liberal Feminism -✔✔✔Is an individualistic form of feminist theory, which focuses on women's ability
to maintain their equality through their own actions and choices. Liberal feminists argue that society
holds the false belief that women are, by nature, less intellectually and physically capable than men;
thus it tends to discriminate against women in the academy, the forum, and the marketplace. Liberal
feminists believe that "female subordination is rooted in a set of customary and legal constraints that
blocks women's entrance to and success in the so-called public world". They strive for sexual equality via
political and legal reform.[1]



Social Feminism -✔✔✔Is a term used to describe feminist movements that advocate for social rights
and special accommodations for women. It was first used to describe members of the women's suffrage
movement in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries who were concerned with social
problems that affected women and children. They saw obtaining the vote mainly as a means to achieve
their reform goals rather than a primary goal in itself. After women gained the right to vote, social
feminism continued in the form of labor feminists who advocated for protectionist legislation and
special benefits for women. The term is widely used, although some historians have questioned its
validity.



Radical Feminism -✔✔✔To seek to abolish patriarchy by challenging existing social norms and
institutions, rather than through a purely political process. This includes challenging the notion of
traditional gender roles, opposing the sexual objectification of women, and raising public awareness
about such issues as rape and violence against women.



Patriarchy -✔✔✔Is a social system in which males hold primary power and predominate in roles of
political leadership, moral authority, social privilege and control of property. In the domain of the family,
fathers or father-figures hold authority over women and children. Some patriarchal societies are also
patrilineal, meaning that property and title are inherited by the male lineage.



Multicultural Feminism -✔✔✔describes the existence, acceptance, and/or promotion of multiple
cultural traditions within a single jurisdiction, usually considered in terms of the culture associated with
an aboriginal ethnic group and foreigner ethnic groups. This can happen when a jurisdiction is created or
expanded by amalgamating areas with two or more different cultures (e.g. French Canada and English
Canada) or through immigration from different jurisdictions around the world (e.g. Australia, Canada,
United States, United Kingdom, and many other countries).
