suicide in the past year ranged from 2.5 percent in the Miami metropolitan
statistical area (MSA) to 6.6 percent in the New Orleans MSA.
The percentage of adults aged 18 or older who planned suicide in the past
year included 0.4 percent in the Atlanta MSA and 2.1 percent in the New
Orleans MSA.
