A Pt w/ an Acute Condition (Abnormal VS or Urine Output 30 ml/hr) Takes Priority Over a Pt w/ a Chronic Medical Condition (Ex. Pressure Ulcer) 4. Prioritize SYSTEMIC Over LOCAL Issues • Ex. A Pt w/ Systemic S/S (Ex. Fever, Hypotension, Tachypnea, Tachycardia) Takes Priority Over a Pt Experiencing Local S/S (Leg Pain & Erythema) 5. Prioritize Interventions Using ABCDE Framework • Ex.
