RÔLE DE LA BANQUE CENTRALE EUROPÉENNE (BCE)
= La BCE est l'institution monétaire de l'Union européenne (UE) chargée de la politique monétaire de la
zone euro, visant à maintenir la stabilité des prix en contrôlant l'inflation.
 Ils émettent cet argent aux banques à un certain taux d’intérêt (interestvoet)
 La BCE augmente les taux d’intérêts s’il y atrop d’inflation, elle souhaite que l'inflation soit de 2 %
 Forte inflation (sterke inflatie) = taux d'intérêt élevé, réduisant à nouveau l'inflation
 Faible inflation (lage inflatie) = taux d'intérêt bas, entraînant une nouvelle hausse de l'inflation

VARIATION DU NIVEAU MOYEN DES PRIX DANS UNE ÉCONOMIE
Inflation = une augmentation des prix
Désinflation = ralentissement de cette augmentation
Déflation = une baisse générale et soutenue des prix

INSTRUMENTS POUR MESURER L’INFLATION
L’indice des prix à la consommation IPC (panier = mandje) = consumptieprijsindex
= mesure la variation moyenne des prix des biens et services consommés par les ménages sur une période
donnée. Il utilise un panier représentatif de biens et services, suivant les habitudes de consommation.
L’indice-santé = gezondheidsindex
= L'indice-santé est un indice économique utilisé pour mesurer les variations des prix des biens et
services liés à la santé. se concentre spécifiquement sur les coûts des soins de santé, des médicaments,
des visites médicales, des assurances maladie, SAUF le tabac, l’alchool, … choses qui sont mauvais pour
la santé

RAPPORT ENTRE CROISSANCE / PIB ET INFLATION
PIB (Produit Intérieur Brut) = BBP
croissance nominale (nominale groei) = l’augmentation de la production + du prix
Croissance réelle (reële groei) = seule l’augmentation de la production

RAPPORT ENTRE TAUX D’ACTIVITÉ ET INFLATION
situation de sous-emploi: baisse potentielle des salaires  baisse des prix  risque de déflation
 sous-emploi = il n’y a pas assez d’emplois
situation de plein emploi:
Plein emploi = tous le monde est employé
situation de sur-emploi: hausse potentielle des salaires  hausse des prix  risque d’inflation
 sur-emploi = trop d’emplois
