10 Steps of AVID Tutorial (revised)
Step 1 - ANS-identify an initial question from rigorous classwork

Step 2 - ANS-Students complete a TRF

Step 3 - ANS-students divide into groups

Step 4 - ANS-Students get in tutorial groups and 1st student presenter prepares.

Step 5 - ANS-1st student presenter gives their 30-second speech, other members guide or
coach them to the answer. Group members take notes in their notebook.

Step 6 - ANS-Group members help the student presenter and the steps are recorded on the
white board.

Step 7 - ANS-Repeat step 5 and 6 with as many group members as possible.

Step 8 - ANS-Students write a reflection on their TRF

Step 9 - ANS-Students turn in their TRF to be graded.

Step 10 - ANS-The class debriefs the tutorial.
